Hyakumangoku Festival

Hyakumangoku Festival is the most biggest summer festival held in every June in Kanazawa.
The parade depart from the east exit of Kanazawa Station then head to Kanazawa Castle Park,it usually takes approximately four hours. Famous actors are invited this festival every year, to play the role of Maeda Toshiie who is the founder of the Kaga domain.
Wearing various colorful costumes by actors and participants is also one of the highlight of this festival.
They are dressed as samurai or princesses, hold a musical instruments,you can feel atomosphere of festival during the parade.
Kanazawa station is accessible by Shinkansen Hakutaka or Kagayaki for approximately three hours.
